Bio/CV: 

Tilman Jacobs is a lecturer at Berkeley Law and in the U.C. Berkeley Legal Studies Program, with a focus in forced migration and migrants’ rights. He has represented noncitizens across the United States, specializing in humanitarian removal defense for adults and children in federal custody and for persons experiencing mental illness. In addition to his immigration practice, he has worked on human rights projects in Africa, the Caribbean, and the Middle East. Previously, Tilman taught at the University of Colorado Law School, the University of Wyoming College of Law, and the Georgetown University Law Center.
