Salomé Ragot

Salomé graduated from UC Berkeley in 2020 and is delighted to return to BIMI as the Program Coordinator! She previously worked as a research assistant at BIMI mapping immigrant services and drafting a policy brief analyzing COVID-19’s impact on immigrants in the Bay Area. Her immigration research is grounded in her experience working at various immigration advocacy organizations including Catholic Charities of San Francisco where she assisted clients in deportation proceedings to apply for asylum and at Freedom for Immigrants where she supported immigrants in detention. Most recently, Salomé worked in Egypt on the resettlement team at St Andrews Refugee Services, where she interviewed refugees to assess their protection and resettlement needs. She is excited to return to BIMI to further her engagement with the immigration research community.
