Bio/CV: 

Dr. Mora is a native of Costa Rica, she completed her Medical Doctor degree from the University of Costa Rica in 2005 and her PhD degree in Epidemiology at UC Berkeley School of Public Health in 2014. She is currently working as an Associate Professor at the Central American Institute for Studies on Toxic Substances (IRET) at the Universidad Nacional in Costa Rica, and an Assistant Researcher at the Center for Environmental Research and Children's Health (CERCH), School of Public Health, University of California, Berkeley. Her research focused primarily on the health effects of exposures to environmental toxicants, and more recently COVID-19, in vulnerable populations, including pregnant women, children, and migrant farmworkers.
